FAQ
Are all the students interviewed? Should I be worried if I am called for an interview?
No. All applications are lodged at visa application centres in India,
run by Visa Facilitation Services (VFS), who have 11 offices, throughout India. The applications are then assessed by the Entry Clearance Officers at British diplomatic missions. If the officer is satisfied at that stage that the student meets all the requirements of the Immigration Rules, then the visa will be issued without an interview. However, the fact that a student is asked to attend an interview does not necessarily mean that the application will be unsuccessful.
What kind of questions will be asked at the interview?
There is no definitive list of questions. The interviewing officer will have to be satisfied that the student meets the requirements of the Immigration Rules.
